Patients can call 911 if they have a medical emergency. Ambulances will remain available to the community and will be re-routed to surrounding hospitals, to ensure local residents continue to have access to the emergency services they need.
For non-urgent health care, call Health Connect Ontario at 811, which is available 24/7 for non- emergency health-related questions.
The closest hospitals are: Palmerston & District Hospital; South Bruce Grey Health Centre in Durham; Listowel Memorial Hospital; Hanover and District Hospital; South Bruce Grey Health Centre in Walkerton; Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus, and Wingham and District Hospital.
Be aware, other hospitals may also be experiencing temporary closures due to staffing shortages, so it is advised you confirm they are open before heading there.
