Canine unit helps with arrest in Mount Forest this week

On Tuesday afternoon, police tried to stop the driver of a silver sedan on Peel Street in Mount Forest.
The vehicle fled the area, and was then involved in a fail-to-remain collision.
As a result of the investigation, and with help from the West Region Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit, a 27-year-old from Harriston faces a list of charges, and is scheduled to appear at court in Guelph.
No injuries were reported.
