It was a busy weekend for both the Easter Bunny and the officers of the Central Region OPP. During the three day blitz officers made 2,358 traffic stops and issued 284 seatbelt charges. Including other offences, a total of 2,123 charges were laid.
Police would like to remind motorists that the nicer weather doesn’t mean open season on the roadways. Watch your speed, and click it or ticket.
