Around 8:30 yesterday morning, Wellington County OPP, Guelph Wellington Paramedic Services and local fire departments, responded to an injured cyclist on Wellington Road 2 at Regency Drive in Minto. A cyclist had been struck by a vehicle which did not remain at the scene of the collision.
The cyclist, a 21-year-old from Clifford, was transported to a trauma centre by Air Ornge with serious injuries.
Wellington County OPP is asking the driver of the vehicle involved to please come forward to speak to officers.
Wellington County Road 2 was closed for several hours for the investigation.
