Police have dismantled a clandestine drug laboratory in Walkerton.
Last Wednesday, police executed a search warrant at an address in Walkerton, and the accused was taken into custody without incident.
During the execution of the warrant, police discovered a clandestine drug lab, which was safely dismantled.
As a result, police seized a .22 caliber handgun, a quantity of suspected MDMA, precursors for drug production, as well as several pieces of production equipment, with a combined estimated street value around $25,000.
A 51-year-old from Walkerton faces a long list of charges, was remanded into custody, and is scheduled to appear at court today.
