Youth aged eight to 12 are invited to join us for investigations into our natural world with fun and hands-on learning in mind. We plan to meet on the third Saturday of the month, for eight months (September, October, November, January, February, March, April, May). Each gathering will be from 9:30 am to noon; taking place at various locations within our area.
Registration is $40 per child for the full eight months.
Registration will take place at Sulphur Spring Conservation Area, Picnic Shelter, Saturday, September 16, at 9:30 am followed by our first program.
Different themes and locations each month:
September 16 – Tremendous Trees! (Sulphur Spring C.A.)
October 21 – A Fungus Among Us (Allan Park C.A.)
November 18- Preparing for the Big Chill (Kinghurst Nature Reserve)
