Last Wednesday, Grey Bruce OPP began an investigation into the recording and distribution of explicit images of one youth by another youth. As a result of investigation, Grey Bruce OPP have arrested and charged a 13-year-old, whose identity is protected under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, with Possession, publication, and the distribution or sale of child pornography.The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound.The OPP encourages parents to be aware of their kids’ online activities. Police investigate many calls every year involving youth sharing explicit images.
