It’s Municipal Election day across Ontario. While it’s too late to mail in ballots now, here’s details for voting today depending on where you live in our coverage area.
In Wellington North, you can still drop off your ballot today at the Township Office in Kenilworth from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Official election results will be released by the Township tomorrow.
In Minto, you can drop off your ballot today at the Town of Minto office on Highway 89 in Harriston from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Results will be made public as soon as possible after 8 p.m.
In West Grey, voting closes at 8 p.m. Voters can cast their ballots online, by telephone, or at the municipal office today between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Visit westgrey.com/elections for more information.
West Grey’s YouTube channel will have results at 8:30 p.m. tonight. Results will also be posted on the municipal website, on West Grey’s social media sites, and the live results will stay on the YouTube channel.
In Mapleton, you can vote online on the Municipality’s website, mapleton.ca.
In Southgate, you can also vote online at Southgate.ca, or by telephone, until 8 p.m. today.
