The Ontario Plowman’s Association and the Bruce County Plowing Association announced Sunday, the International Plowing Match will be hosted by Lang Farms on September 22nd to 26th, 2026, in Walkerton.
This will be the fourth time the International Plowing match has been held in Bruce County, marking its 50th anniversary.
Local farmer, businessman and entrepreneur Gord Lang has accepted the role of Chairperson, and has begun to assemble his Executive Committee. Upward of 1500 volunteers will be required to successfully host this international event.
Lang wants to engage the community to develop a logo and slogan. It can be a brand-new idea, or a culmination of favourite items included in past logos/slogans. Proposals can be sent to the IPM 2026 email address brucecountyipm@gmail.com before the July 1st deadline.
More than 200,000 people are expected to attend the event.
