The Bruce Community Futures Development Corporation and Saugeen Economic Development Corporation have announced Amanda Farrell Walsh, Vice President of Sales and Customer Experience at Miller Insurance, as the latest Investor for their Dragons’ Den-inspired “Hawks’ Nest” competition.Farrell Walsh said she is looking forward to putting her past experience in marketing and communications and community economic development, combined with her more recent involvement in risk management, to the test as a “Hawk.”Married with two kids, Farrell Walsh spends time outside of work coaching, participating in Scottish Highland Games and lifting competitions, and enjoying her front porch.
