Local Remembrance Day services tomorrow

Tomorrow is Remembrance Day, and there are local services planned across the region.
Mount Forest Legion Branch 134 will host a Remembrance Day service starting at 10:45 a.m. at the Mount Forest Cenotaph.
In Harriston, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 296 will hold their service at 11 a.m. Afterwards, the public is invited downstairs for refreshments.
In Palmerston, the Palmerston Legion Frank Lambier Branch 409 will hold their service at the cenotaph at 11 a.m. There will be a parade by Legion members from the Branch to the cenotaph prior to the ceremony. There will be a light lunch served at the Legion following the service.
Over in Arthur, Legion Branch 226 will have a parade from the Legion to the cenotaph for a service, starting at 10:45 a.m.
Drayton Legion Branch 416 will have their service tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at the cenotaph. There will be a parade from the Legion starting at 2:15 p.m.
At the Wellington County Museum and Archives, more than 500 memorial markers have been placed, each bearing a name of a fallen soldier from Wellington County.
Candles will be lit today at each marker, and will remain burning throughout Remembrance Day.
