The Mount Forest Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation’s fourth-annual Gala, “Adventures in Wonderland”, held in June, raised more than $145,000 in support of the Louise Marshall Hospital.
The Foundation set a fundraising goal of $112,500 for the Gala, with funds directed towards ECG fleet updates for the hospital, including the purchase of a replacement ECG cart and software platform upgrades.
The additional funds will be directed toward other essential capital equipment, and projects the Foundation has committed to funding for the hospital.
More than 450 people were in attendance.
Executive Director for the LMH Foundation Amy Van Huss said, “We are so grateful for how the community came together to support both the Gala and Louise Marshall Hospital. From our sponsors, to the businesses who donated to our auctions, the team of volunteers who helped build and construct the fantastic decor, our set-up and clean-up crew, the guests that purchased tickets, and many more, we couldn’t have accomplished what we did without them all.”
Plans are already underway for the 5th annual Gala next June. For more information, or to support the Foundation, go online to louisemarshallfoundation.ca.
