More than $4,000 raised at 2024 Mount Forest Terry Fox Run

The annual Terry Fox Run was held yesterday across Canada, and in Mount Forest, more than $4,000 was raised on behalf of the Terry Fox Foundation. The money will go towards cancer research.
The Mount Forest Lions Club looks after efforts in Mount Forest and area, known as site number 236. Long-time club member Bill Dineen has been the chairperson for the committee at the Club for many years.
Once again, the run this year in the region allowed people to run, walk, or ride wherever they wished to, while collecting donations and pledges.
There was also a spot in town where the Lions sold 2024 T-Shirts, and gave away stickers, bracelets and temporary tattoos to kids.
The club says they would like to thank everyone for their continuing support.
