On March 31st, Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MPP Rick Byers was at the Saugeen Valley Children’s Safety Village for a Community Engagement Workshop.Byers heard how a $61,100 Resilient Communities Fund grant awarded last year by the Ontario Trillium Foundation, enabled the group to invest in safety programming, staffing, technology, and equipment, as well as an updated strategic and community collaboration plan following COVID-19.Byers said, “The Saugeen Valley Safety Village will make a difference in the lives of those children who have had the chance to participate in the wonderful hands-on safety programs offered.”For more information on the Village, visit SaugeenValleyCSV.com.
