Just before 9 p.m. yesterday evening, emergency services were at 4th Line in Melancthon for a serious single-vehicle collision.
A convertible appeared to have rolled before coming to a rest in a field. The lone driver was extracted by Fire Services and life saving measures were attempted.
As a result of the collision, a 35-year-old female from Brampton, the lone occupant, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation is continuing, and anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to call 1-888-310-1122.
