Around 10 p.m. Saturday night, Wellington County OPP responded to a serious collision on Wellington Road 6, near Mount Forest.
It was reported a single vehicle was involved, and the lone occupant had suffered serious injuries.
Emergency services responded, and the driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the collision.
Wellington Road 6 was closed between Highway 89 and Lovers Lane through most of the night.
