Just before noon Friday, police were called to a home on Second Avenue East in Owen Sound. A deceased 47-year-old male was discovered.
As a result, multiple police units and services have begun an investigation, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner and Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
Investigators believe this to be an isolated incident, and there is no concern for public safety.
The investigation is in its early stages and no further details have been released. People should expect to see a large police presence for the next few days.
