The Mount Forest Patriots were victorious 5-3 over Hanover in game 5 of the Pollock Division final and won the series 4-1.
The Patriots now move on to the final 8 teams who will battle for the Schmalz Cup, the top prize for junior C hockey in Ontario.
The Stayner Siskins were ranked #1 in the province during the regular season. Mount Forest won the coin toss for home-ice advantage during the series with game one Friday April 21st in Mount Forest.
