Police began an investigation into allegations of a sexual assault late last month in North Perth. As a result, a 30-year-old from North Perth was charged with Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Assault. The victim and accused knew each other.The accused was held pending a bail hearing.
In a separate investigation, Perth County OPP has laid sexual assault and an assault charge against a youth in Perth County. The accused was charged with Sexual Assault on a Person Under 16 years of age and Spousal Assault.The accused was released, and is scheduled to appear in court in Stratford.
