Just after 11 a.m. yesterday morning, a youth was riding their bike on Perth Road 131, when they were stopped by a man standing outside of his vehicle.
The suspect gestured the youth to stop, began to ask questions, made some inappropriate comments and than grabbed the youth.
The youth was able to get free after a short struggle. The vehicle immediately left, and was last seen heading north on Perth Road 131. The suspect is described as white, between 30 and 40 years old, approximately 5’6″ tall with a heavier build, short to medium dark hair and stubble, with a slight accent. He was wearing a white button up short sleeve shirt, with a black vest.
The vehicle is described as an older turquoise car possibly a hatchback. The rims on the driver’s side are rusted.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident, and looking for the public’s help. Anyone who may have been in the area of Perth Road 131 between Line 83 and Line 86 with dashcam footage, or anyone in the area who has home surveillance, is asked to contact police.
