Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae announced yesterday hospitals throughout Perth and Wellington Counties would receive more than $6.6 million in funding through the Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund.
The funding will support local hospitals as they make critical upgrades, repairs, and maintain their facilities.
Rae said, โThis funding is essential for our hospitals to continue to provide the best care possible in our communities.โ
Ontario is providing $200 million to hospitals through the Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund and more than $8.4 million to community health service providers through the Community Infrastructure Renewal Fund.
North Wellington Health Care Corporation will receive just over one and a quarter million dollars in total HIRF funding for 2023-24.
