Wellington County OPP is asking for the public’s assistance with identifying a person of interest and locating a pickup truck stolen from a Mount Forest business.
Around 2 a.m. Wednesday, it was reported an unknown person tried to steal a vehicle from a business on Industrial Drive in Mount Forest. The person then went to a second business on Industrial Drive and stole a pickup truck.
The pickup truck is described as a 2016 red diesel crew cab Chevrolet Silverado, with “1138483 LTD” in bold black lettering on the front quarter panels on both sides of the truck. Ontario license plates “8782NX” were attached to the vehicle.
The person of interest is described as wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, beige jacket and camouflage pants with a black backpack.
