Police are warning social media users after an extortion investigation late last month.A man met a female on a cellphone application, and during a conversation, he sent the female an explicit photograph.The woman then demanded money, or the photo would be sent to the man’s friends and family. No money changed hands, but the photo was distributed.Police are urging people to be aware of the dangers of engaging in online chats where explicit conversations and photographs are shared.
