Just before 11:30 p.m. Tuesday night February 21st, officers from Dufferin stopped a vehicle for a traffic related offence. The officers were led into an impaired operation investigation.
A 55-year-old, from Melancthon, has been charged with: Impaired – alcohol and drugs; Failure of refusal to comply; Driving under suspension; Speeding; and Failure to surrender permit. The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville in March. Their licence was suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle impounded for one week.
