Police have arrested a 41-year-old from Bluewater for the armed robbery in Exeter on Sunday.
On Sunday evening, Huron County OPP was called by a store owner in Exeter reporting an armed robbery.
One man entered the store and demanded cash, and brandished a handgun.
Prior to this, police believe the same suspect was seen in Huron Park attempting to enter a variety store with a handgun, but was unsuccessful as the business had closed.
While police were responding to Huron Park, the robbery in Exeter occurred.
During the investigation, the suspect was identified, and a search warrant was executed in Bluewater yesterday. The suspect was found, arrested, and taken to the detachment in Clinton.
A 41-year-old from Bluewater faces several charges, and is in custody awaiting a bail hearing today at court in Goderich.
