Wellington County Museum and Archives will host two Pajama Parties this summer, inviting all ages to explore the building after hours and experience a night at the museum.
On July 19 and August 9, from 6 to 9 p.m., museum doors will be open for an evening of fun, crafts, games, scavenger hunting, popcorn, and more.
Exhibits which will be open include: Not Just Dirt: Digging into the Science of Soil; a Memoriam for Queen Elizabeth II; the history of the Poor House; Classic Movie Theatre The Jewel; A Soldier’s Life at the Front from 1914-1918; a 1920s Kitchen; The Neutrals in Wellington County; and Log Cabin.
Museum Programming Supervisor Emily Peters said, “We’re so excited to invite the public to explore our historic building after hours.”
Attendees are encouraged to wear pajamas or comfy clothing and admission is by donation.
