The Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority announced its Flood Waters and You student safety program is open to schools and community youth groups in the region.During March and April, representatives will be available to help classrooms and community youth groups with student safety awareness efforts.Conservation Education Coordinator Nancy Griffin said, “We believe it is essential to educate our community’s youth on the dangers of floods, and we are proud to offer this program to schools and community youth groups in the Saugeen Watershed.”The Flood Waters and You Student Safety Program is free.For more information, send an email to education@svca.on.ca.
