Around 10:30 Friday evening, multiple units from the Wellington County OPP responded to an assault on Main Street South in Mount Forest.
Initial reports indicated one person had received minor injuries after being assaulted with a weapon.
As a result, a 20-year-old from Guelph has been charged with Assault with a Weapon and Breach of Recognizance, and is scheduled to appear at court in Guelph on August 18.
