Around 6:30 Tuesday morning, Wellington County OPP, along with Guelph-Wellington Paramedic services and local fire departments, responded to a collision at Wellington Road 30 and Township Road 3 in Guelph/Eramosa. It was reported two SUVs had collided. One driver was taken to hospital, while the two occupants of the second vehicle were taken to a trauma centre – the driver with serious injuries and the passenger with life-threatening injuries.
The roads were closed for several hours while the OPP continued to investigate with the aid of the West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement team.
