The County of Wellington has been recognized by the Canadian Armed Forces as a supporter of the With Glowing Hearts Programme.
The With Glowing Hearts Programme recognizes organizations supporting the CAF with military leave policies, and provide Reserve Force employees the flexibility to continue serving their community and Canada.
The County is now part of the With Glowing Hearts Registrant Directory.
Warden Andy Lennox said, “On behalf of the County of Wellington, we are incredibly proud to support the Canadian Armed Forces by providing military-leave provisions for our employees that are reservists.”
To date, the county is the only municipality in Ontario on the With Glowing Hearts Registrant Directory.
