Wellington Heights Secondary School’s Warm Winter Wishes campaign raised more than $16,000 with their latest effort.
Christiane Lopez’ business leadership class raised money lots of different ways; they ran a dodgeball tournament, held silent auctions and a chili cook-off, as well as a spicy food challenge, among other events. Along with that, the school’s Student Council put together a food drive competition, which brought in a total of 835 items, which in turn were donated to the food bank. Mount Forest Foodland also made a donation of toys to the campaign.
