Young’s Home Hardware Building Centre in Mount Forest has been named Best Home Hardware Building Centre in Ontario.
It was one of eighteen awards handed out at Home Hardware’s recent 2023 Homecoming event in Toronto.
Dealer-Owner Marty Young said, “My wife Jo-Anne and I began our Home journey more than 28 years ago, and have enjoyed building great relationships with staff, suppliers, dealers and our community. Success to us is truly measured by the way that we have come together.”
Recipients of a Proud of My Home Achievement Award must demonstrate excellence in several categories, including staff performance and customer service; presentation; staff training; and participation in Dealer network initiatives.
The Youngs have been part of Home since 1995, managing Collingwood Home Hardware Building Centre before opening their own store in Mount Forest in 2004.

Founded in 1964 in St. Jacobs, Home Hardware remains 100 per cent Canadian owned and operated.
